choose joy

It's in sadness mingled with joy that I tell you my friend that I told you about last winter, Sara, passed away last night. The joy comes in knowing fully that her disease is healed, she has NO pain, and she's finally able to leave her condo (for the first time in over 3 years). She's been reunited with both her dad and with her Father. And with great certainty, we know He said, 'Well done, daughter.' Of course the sadness and tears come from the void that left in my reader and my heart. I'll miss her 'Gitz Bits' and pictures and stories of her blog dog, Riley. But in her sweet and special case, the joy outweighs the sad (mostly), and we're left here to PRAISE, and to Choose Joy, just as she spent her life doing.
