we were grieving the sudden loss of a dear family friend.
We were waiting to hear from the mortgage company if we got our dream house.
We had just started new jobs.
We were living in my mom's hallway.
We couldn't seem to make a baby, and were still grieving over the one we lost.
We had dreams of our next steps, and all we could do was wait.

One year later...
we love and miss those who have gone Home this year.
we love our home.
we love our jobs.
we are growing a baby.
Our life is happening; our cups overflow.
the Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!

I have been in every spot (both the good and the bad - though our hallway was an unfinished basement). So glad you are joy-filled. He is good, isn't he?
